Elton performs regularly in duos. Accompanying singers such as Ernestine Deane and Maya Spector, and instrumentalists such Daniel Franks (violin) and Gareth Harvey (Saxophones and Flute).

He plays solo guitar in restaurants and intimate occasions, and is a member of the popular gypsy jazz trio The Hot Club of Cape Town.
